Show Notes
The Roaring 20s were an age of great social and political change. The decade experienced its ups and downs, its highs and lows, and its fair share of cultural shifting. The decade took shape with events such as The Prohibition, the rarely discussed Great Migration, and ended with the Great Depression in 1929. The names of Al Capone, Woodrow Wilson, and Henry Ford strike a chord when reliving the 1920s. Each of these events and persons shaped the cultural and society dynamics of the time. Music evolved through jazz. Cinema expanded through color and sound. Dance clubs revolutionized the social scene. New fashion and cosmetics began breaking down rigid Victorian styles of wardrobes. Tune in as Steve and Dave breakdown The Roaring 20s in this week’s Flash Past episode.
