Recently I took a trip to discover technology in the Silicon Valley and also a visit to the TWiT Cottage. The first stop was to Apple Corporate. Extremely polite employees and the Apple Store was fantastic! The second stop was to Google. The environment at Google is so different than Apple which is impersonal and unfriendly. They don’t allow the public into the Google Store and pictures inside any building is prohibited. I would have spend a lot of money Google had you opened your doors! I also visited the old back-lot of Facebook which was an old manufacturing facility. The new Facebook offices are beautiful and people are so up-beat it’s unreal.
The final stop of my trip was to visit the TWIT Cottage and Leo Laporte. What an amazing visit. The staff at TWiT are above reproach and the comfort level provided is so pleasant. I sat in during the recording of Window Weekly with Leo and was one of the highlights of my technical career. I want to thank everyone at TWiT for such an amazing experience. Following are a few pictures and quick videos during my “Tech Trip”
