Show Notes
2010 AFC North preview. The Baltimore Ravens upgraded the weakest part of their offense with the additions of Boldin and Stallworth. Along with the return of savvy veteran Derrick Mason and the maturation of running back Ray Rice, Joe Flacco does not lack in the weapons department. Can Flacco take his game to the next level? Will the secondary hold up after injuries to both starting cornerbacks and All-Pro safety Ed Reed? The Cincinnati Bengals continued on their quest to acquire the most diva wide receivers in NFL history. Move over Ochocinco, and make room for Terrell Owens and Antonio Bryant. The pressure is on Carson Palmer and Marvin Lewis to keep the peace in the locker room and on the field. The Cleveland Browns do not have a quarterback controversy….not yet, anyway. Was Jake Delhomme’s pathetic 2009 season an aberration? The Brown’s must think so because they gave the 35 year old $7 million to delay the Colt McCoy era. Unfortunately, there just isn’t much talent on the roster aside from Josh Cribbs and Shaun Rogers. The Pittsburgh Steelers hope that QB Byron Leftwich can manage the first 4-6 games until Ben Roethlisberger returns from his suspension. Drafting C/G Maurkice Pouncey and RB Jonathan Dwyer indicate they plan on getting back to pounding the football between the tackles. Is the return of Antwaan Randle El and the emergence of Mike Wallace enough to overcome the loss of Santonio Holmes. Only time will tell…and, that’s why they play the games…
