Dave and Ryan give their football teams marginal draft grades, but that can change if each of the quarterbacks drafted by the Jaguars and Niners become something special. We were given more proof that the NFL has become QB crazy as the first round mostly consisted of QBs, guys that rush the QB and guys that protect the QB. It was an interesting dynamic for the primetime draft amid the current NFL lockout, but, most everyone seemed to make the best of it. How did your team do?
It looks like things are settles in the Eastern Conference of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. The Western Conference may take a little more time though. Tampa Bay swept top-seeded Washington and Boston has a comanding series lead on Philadelphia. The Sharks have taken a stranglehold over the Red Wings while Nashville is giving top-seeded Vancouver a real battle.
Can the Lakers rebound from down 2-0 to the Mavs, losing both games at home? Will the Celtics give the Miami Heat a fight once they get to Boston? Meanwhile the Hawks/Bulls and Grizzlies/Thunder series are all tied up at one a piece. We love the NBA playoffs…
