Roku currently has 400 streaming channels which are categorized in their store.  Content examples include Sports, Movies, TPN.TV, the Blubrry Network and more.  An issue with all streaming content set-top devices is having to plug in power cables, HDMI or component connectors.  Roku has come up with a solution of this dilemma a USB sized stick which plugs into the HDMI port in lieu of a set-top box and cords.  Ed from Roku showed off the product at CES 2012.  The device has the same chip set and memory as the Roku 2 XS and of equal performance.  The design is based on the MHL standard which lower ended TV models may not support at this time.

The Roku Streaming Stick will come with a motion control remote that has WiFi built-in. The remote control will have power and control out and also can be controlled by the TV remote.  This device could change the streaming device market as we know it today.
