NFL seems to be the main topic of discussion, week in and week out. This week we take an opposing position to the quality of NFL games over the past few weeks. The quality of game play and the quality of match-ups have made for some disappointing entertainment. In a given week, there are typically 5 to 6 games that are intriguing. Week 6 and 7 produced a handful of games that provided the usually entertaining, cliff-hanger type football game. What’s the cause here? Perhaps an offensively driven league is creating a greater divide between good and bad teams… Perhaps it’s just a strange three week period in the league where last year’s match-ups aren’t living up to this year’s expectations… Dave coins this season “The Year of Uninteresting Games.”
