Pre-CES Mayhem and Live CES Coverage

Let the electronic frenzy begin! CES 2012 is just over the horizon. Steve and I have made it a habit to show up two hours early at the Las Vegas Convention Center just to get a decent parking spot. The first few days brought us our fair share of work. We have been working hand in hand with @techpodcasts, @geekazine, @RVNewsNet, @promedic, and so many other great podcasting folk. The booth is completely set up and live broadcasting has already taken place. CES Unveiled was an awesome event, with vendors from every corner of the international market demonstrating their innovations and products. Be sure to tune in to TPN.TV for live coverage of CES 2012 and learn about some of the amazing products on display this year.

Steve and I are hitting the showroom floor today. With camera, microphone, and questions in hand, expect some great interviews with some of the most well known technology firms from around the world. Verizon has one of the largest exhibits here. It’s an amazing production of sound, light, and interaction. Blackberry, Kodak, PCD, and Qualcomm also have impressive displays on hand. We’ve seen a lot so far but at the same time, we haven’t touched the surface to what’s here at CES.

The great part of CES 2012 is interviewing some of the “lessen known” tech companies from around the world. Just walking around the showrooms over the past few days, I can’t even begin to explain the amount of product developers, software developers, consulting firms, and gaming platforms that I have happened upon. I’ve noticed several gaming tablets, USB focused companies, and hundreds of digital accessory stands. I’ve noticed many of the tablets boosting the use of Anrdoid as the OS, just a side note there.
