1. October 29 Event Expected To Announce Nexus PhoneSony Nexus Device?
Invites went out on Wednesday for a Google event planned on October 29. Most likely, Google will announce the latest device in their Nexus line. Speculation has been rampant and we could even see multiple devices released.

2. Felix Baumgartner Almost Jumped With Google GlassBreaks YouTube Record
The record breaking jump from space was almost broadcast to the world via Google’s unreleased ‘Glass’ product. A conversation with Google’s Matt Cutts and a YouTube employee. Baumgartner jumping also beat a live stream YouTube record finishing with over 8 million unique viewers.

3. New Chromebook From Google/Samsung
Google announced a new Chromebook today that will soon be available for $249. The new Chromebook is made by Samsung and features a 12in screen, weighs 2.5 pounds, has a battery life of 6.5 hours and is .8 inches thick.

4. Google Testing Wider Search
You will soon be able to search inside Gmail and see results from across a variety of Google services like Drive and Calendar. Click the link to sign up for early access.

5. Larry Page Is Back
After being noticeably out of the public eye (including not attending Google I/O) Google’s CEO Larry Page was back and speaking this week.
